Principal
Mrs. Kline brings over 15 years of experience in special education, beginning her career as a paraprofessional before quickly finding her passion as a bilingual special education early childhood teacher. She has taught across a wide range of settings, including structured autism classrooms, blended special education, resource, and cross-categorical PreK–3 programs. She also has a strong background in supporting special education within dual language programs, including both one-way and two-way immersion models.
Her leadership experience includes serving as an Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator, where she collaborated closely with early intervention teams; assistant principal in a cooperative special education program; and most recently as a district-level administrator overseeing special education services.
Ms. Kline holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature and Early Childhood Education from Northeastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Special Education from National Louis University, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University. She is currently pursuing Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification to further strengthen her ability to support students, staff, and families.
Deeply dedicated to advancing the education of children with disabilities, Ms. Kline has a particular focus on supporting learners with neurodiverse needs. As an autism mom herself, she strives to create a welcoming and supportive transition into the school system for families beginning their journey in special education.
